Neck
Wrinkles
Neck wrinkles and
saggy skin around the throat is not nice to
look at, and is
becoming a
major worry for both men and women. Dark
circles around the eyes, eye puffiness
and having bags under the eyes
is creating a massive
search among people looking for the best
way to treat these conditions and
hopefully rid them too. Neck wrinkles
like all wrinkles, whether they are
facial or on other body parts can’t be
removed permanently, but they can however
be taken down in visibility to give a
clearer smooth looking
skin.
The neck,
not intentionally in most cases is one of the
most neglected body parts in terms of wrinkles
and wrinkle-prevention. The irony of this is
that it is also one of the areas of the body
most prone for fine lines forming. If people
are made aware of this we wouldn’t be seeing as
many neck wrinkles. The reason is because neck
skin is much thinner than it is on the face,
making it more susceptible to UV damage from
natural sunlight and any other forms of UV
light.
The support systems of the
neck and throat are relatively weak, and
therefore unable to cope with the gravitational
pull that happens as we get
older.
With age,
our body fat is redistributed around the body.
Sadly one of the places we tend to lose fat is
the neck, along with the eyes and cheeks. Lack
of fat beneath the skin means that there is a
decrease in level of support thus why the
elderly tend to have sagging bands,
often referred to as turkey
neck, of skin around the neck and
throat.
Other
reasons are bad eating
habits that can cause a multitude of skin
problems whether linked
to neck wrinkles or
not.
To
help treat neck
wrinkles cleanse
tone and moisturize the skin
every
day.
Wear
sunscreen when exposing the skin to
sunlight or severe conditions like wind,
rain and snow. Every bad cause here can
pose serious threat to the skin where
hospitalization is imminent should skin
cancer be one that has gotten hold. You
need to smother yourself in a minimum sun
factor of 15, wear a sun hat to protect
scalp skin, and wear a decent pair of
good quality sunglasses. Avoid designer
sunglasses if the design of the specs to
not fully cover the
eyes.
Because
the neck is such a sensitive region you
have to treat it so, some treatments used
on other parts of the body are simply not
suitable for neck wrinkles. Talk to your
GP about this, or skin therapist who can
advise the best possible course of
treatments. The safest course of action
is to apply a rejuvenating skin cream
specially formulated and created for the
neck; however if you want instant
results, some skin peels and laser
therapies are effective. As with any form
of skin treatment, it is vital that you
receive treatment from a trained
dermatologist or surgeon. You can only
but worsen a condition treating it any
other
way.
Tell your doctor if you are
feeling down over your neck wrinkles. He/she
are the best people with
the
right
valuable information on how to
treat them, and with what. There are too
many products on the market that are
damaging to the skin even though
recommended for treating
